Project Description
This project is the first step in a larger expansion of facilities for the Rocky Boy Health Center in Northern Montana. The building houses all administrative functions of the current health center as well as provides a staff cafeteria, gym and wellness facilities. A large conference room serves not only Health Center training and meetings, but acts as a facility for board meetings, community outreach and classes. Space was dedicated to Native artwork displays, historical displays, and local artists were consulted for “beadwork” tiles at the building entrance and a buffalo pattern flooring inlay. The project was designed to capitalize on the expansive views of the Bears Paw mountains and bring natural light to all the interior work spaces.
